Who are We

We are Christians of evangelical faith. Our desire is to share the Good News of the Gospel and to convey the love and kindness of Jesus Christ to everyone.
Throughout the church’s 30 years of ministry, communities have been established in dozens of cities and villages across Armenia, as well as abroad.
Prayer, worship, the preaching of the Gospel, and acts of compassion are an integral part of our faith and way of life. We preach about Jesus Christ—crucified and risen.
If you have questions, need spiritual conversation, or would like to join our gatherings, we are ready to respond with love.

Artur and Lusine Simonyan

Artur and Lusine Simonian have been pastoring the Word of Life Evangelical Church in Armenia for 30 years. Through their dedicated service, thousands of people have devoted their lives to God, numerous broken lives have been restored, a large body of committed ministers has been raised, and dozens of churches have been established both in Armenia and abroad—in the Middle East, Europe, Russia, and the United States.
The number of members and attendees of the church in Yerevan has reached approximately 10,000.
Pastor Artur Simonian is also a member of the International Council of "Word of Life" churches and serves as the bishop of "Word of Life" churches in the post-Soviet region. He is an international speaker and carries out apostolic work in various parts of the world, serving as a spiritual advisor to hundreds of pastors both in Armenia and abroad.
He is the author of television programs and well-known Christian books like "Family", "Sisters", "Blessed Reality or Cursed Theatre", etc. He is also the founder of the School of Gifts and Calling (Mahanaim), which has been active since 2018. This initiative aims to help Christian believers discover their gifts and use them to serve God.
Working with youth is a top priority in the ministry of pastor Artur and Lusine Simonian, as the church must ensure a healthy generational transition and continue to progress successfully. It is essential that the older generation, equipped with responsibility, fully passes on their experience and knowledge to the younger generation. Therefore, various events, schools, seminars, and meetings are organized under the pastor’s leadership to train and raise the next generation of young ministers and pastors.

Social Principles
The Word of Life Church of Armenia is an evangelical Christian church that belongs to the evangelical movement of Christianity. It did not originate as a split from another church but has an entirely independent beginning. From 1988 to 1990, it began as a group of believers who prayed together, and over time it grew into a church with thousands of followers. We confess the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The foundation of our faith and doctrine is the Holy Bible, consisting of 66 canonical books.
